2009 Lincoln MKS Revealed

The MKS concept car has been lauded for a while now, and the production version of Lincoln's MKS car was revealed this week, and enthusiasts were not disappointed. While the elements of the car's design were much more intensified as compared to the MKR concept; MKS was unleashed in 2006.

What are some of the items of note? Well, I am glad you asked! The first public show will be very soon in LA, and the model will be available as a 2009 model. Reports on the car have noted that the taillights appear to have become slightly taller and narrower. The headlights end at a less sharp point than on the concept, but remain true to the design language set out by the show car. Many have noted the striking proximity to the 1941 Zephyr, but as an updated version (of course).

The car features a 3.7 V6, giving oomph to the seemingly sleek luxury car. And Lincoln has kind of rebuffed the normal luxury rhetoric, stating that they are not looking for something that will be a fad and be over in a year or two, but something as of note that will last and last.

It is a great looking car, that is for sure, and with a price tag of 38K, it should sell nicely.
