Toyota: FJ Cruiser not going anywhere

toyota_fj_cruiser.jpg

Most people will think that this means that the sales aren't going up, and well, that may be true, but the real byline is for the fact that there have been rumors swirling that Toyota is going to discontinue the Cruiser after the plentiful supply of the 2008 models are gone. Not true, the auto maker says.

The 2009 FJ Cruiser will get some new options and other things but will keep the same sheetmetal, engine lineup, transmission and suspension system. For those of you still seeking that plentiful supply, you can get zero percent financing on it (for qualified buyers, of course) on it through November 9th.

So, stand down, FJ Cruiser aficionados. It's all good in the neighborhood.
