Toyota thinking that SUVs and Trucks will make a comeback

toyota-sequoia.jpg

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that pretty much the only reason that Americans turned away from the SUV and truck craze was due to the surging price of gas. While the prices have somewhat stabilized and even made a bit of a drop over the past couple of weeks, but nothing significant enough to really think that the SUV and truck trend will start up anytime soon.

But Toyota has stated that they feel that gas will actually bottom down to 3.50 on average, and that will mean that while it may not be something that brings back recreational users, it may indeed show a bigger draw for professionals back to the SUVs and trucks.

Even with the idea that gas may go down to the 3.50 range consistently, it will not stay there forever, so even if that means a bigger upswing for SUV and truck sales, it may just be a last hurrah, as targets for gas continue to rise over the next several years. But it may not be dead quite yet....
